Our chapeaus have a black velvet covered felt foundation, a leather sweatband, white plumes of selected male African ostrich feathers, black ostrich underplumes, and a rosette of velvet and satin ribbon.
 
The Cross is embroidered in gilt bullion, gilt lace and gimp slashings. Gilt front tassel.
